The -Yeta-expand-keeps-star compiler option was added in 2.10 to allow for an easier transition between T* to Seq[T].

I tentatively suggest to get rid of it for 2.11. I choose a pretty late milestone of 2.11 as "Fix Version", so that informations of actual uses can be considered and the removal deferred if necessary.

Probably can't remove it yet, but I can deprecate it.
