Currently interactive documentation only analyzes scaladoc comment attached to the symbol itself. However scaladoc tool has a more complex strategy: it constructs its output assuming all overridden symbols have been type-checked. This has an effect when expanding variables, or when a symbol itself doesn't have doc comment, but some overridden does.
