Every time I start Scala interpreter in the Terminal.app it prints these two messages in the head:
grep: ^CYGWIN: No such file or directory
grep: ^MINGW: No such file or directory

and only after that the normal text:
Welcome to Scala version 2.10.3-RC3 (Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM, Java 1.7.0_40).
Type in expressions to have them evaluated.
Type :help for more information.

"Not a bug" is more apt than "Fixed".

From a user support perspective, it is fixed, of course. Maybe the new JIRA supports "My Bad."
