Someone asked in dotty gitter why you can't use a backquoted vbar identifier in infix extractor pattern.

Those dotty people really are dotty.

scala> object | { def unapply(x: (Any, Any)) = Some(x) }
defined object $bar

scala> (1,2) match { case 1 `|` 2 => }
